N\u00e4tverkets syfte \u00e4r att fr\u00e4mja innovation och entrepren\u00f6rskap inom sm\u00e5 och medelstora f\u00f6retag som verkar inom sektorn. I j\u00e4mf\u00f6relse med n\u00e4tverket ERIAFF (se v\u00e5r <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smalandblekinge.se\/files\/Bryssel-besok\/N\u00e4tverk%20i%20Bryssel.pdf\" title=\"\">n\u00e4tverkslista<\/a>) som samverkar kring fr\u00e5gor g\u00e4llande innovation inom lantbruk och h\u00e5llbarhetsfr\u00e5gor, arbetar REGAL med fr\u00e5gor g\u00e4llande innovation inom organiskt och lokalproducerade livsmedel.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4tverket har sina r\u00f6tter de sydeuropeiska regionerna: Baskien, Lombardiet, Navarra och Ligurien. REGAL-n\u00e4tverket ska agera som plattform f\u00f6r projektid\u00e9er och kunskapsutbyten f\u00f6r att fr\u00e4mja lokala och regionala akt\u00f6rer. Detta f\u00f6r att st\u00e4rka deras konkurrenskraft samt p\u00e5verka regionens konsumtion av mat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-591\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sbhss.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/agriculture.jpg\" style=\"width: 426px; height: 240px;\" width=\"554\" height=\"312\" \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I f\u00f6rra veckan h\u00f6lls ett f\u00f6rsta m\u00f6te d\u00e4r n\u00e4tverket presenterade sitt arbete f\u00f6r regionala akt\u00f6rer p\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5. EU-kommissionens generaldirektorat f\u00f6r tillv\u00e4xt och jordbruksfr\u00e5gor fanns representerade under m\u00f6te och presenterade hur n\u00e4tverket kan verka f\u00f6r tillv\u00e4xt samt en \u00f6kad syssels\u00e4ttning i de samverkande regionerna. Kommissionen finansierar dessa typer av projektid\u00e9er framf\u00f6r allt genom europeiska jordbruksfonden f\u00f6r landsbygdsutveckling d\u00e4r Jordbruksverket \u00e4r ansvarig myndighet i Sverige.<\/p>\n<p>REGAL bjuder in samtliga regioner inom EU med gemensamma intressen att samarbeta f\u00f6r fr\u00e4mjandet av lokala livsmedelsproducenter. I Sm\u00e5land Blekinge finns flera akt\u00f6rer med koppling till livsmedelssektorn och fr\u00e5gans betydelse har p\u00e5 senare \u00e5r vuxit i regionernas arbete. Genom n\u00e4tverket \u00f6ppnas s\u00e5ledes nya v\u00e4gar f\u00f6r v\u00e5ra regioner att samarbeta och f\u00f6rst\u00e4rka v\u00e5r position p\u00e5 EU-niv\u00e5.
