Fonden ska bygga upp en investeringsplattform med kombination av privat och offentlig finansiering och ska bland annat investera i utbyggnaden av bredband p\u00e5 glesbygden<em>. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-604\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sbhss.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/new-carousel-cef2016-map-500x254px_16685_1.jpg\" style=\"width: 451px; height: 229px;\" width=\"500\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fonden ska vara en del av den <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eib.org\/efsi\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">europeiska fonden f\u00f6r strategiska investeringar (EFSI)<\/a> och har planerats under kommissionens strategi f\u00f6r Connectivity for a Competitive <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/digital-single-market\/en\/connectivity-european-gigabit-society\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Single Market \u2013 Towards a Gigabit Society<\/a>. Investeringsplattformen kommer som ett svar p\u00e5 den \u00f6kade efterfr\u00e5gan f\u00f6r sm\u00e5skaliga digitala projekt i Europa som fram till nu har haft sv\u00e5rt att finna finansiering. Satsningens fokus kommer s\u00e5ledes ligga p\u00e5 sm\u00e5skaliga h\u00f6grisk projekt som representerar en total kostnad p\u00e5 1.5 miljarder euro eller mindre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Connecting Europe Broadband Fund kommer bli EU:s f\u00f6rsta investeringsplattform f\u00f6r infrastruktur inom bredband och kommer best\u00e5 av en pool med tematiskt eller geografiskt fokuserade projekt. Finansiering kommer fr\u00e5n privata s\u00e5v\u00e4l som offentliga investeringar och kommer sammanlagt uppg\u00e5 till fem miljarder kronor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Innan \u00e5r 2020 ska satsningen ge alla europeiska hush\u00e5ll tillg\u00e5ng till internet p\u00e5 minst 30 Megabit\/sekunden. Kommissionen f\u00f6resl\u00e5r \u00e4ven att alla offentliga organ samt digitala f\u00f6retag ska ha tillg\u00e5ng internet p\u00e5 1 Gigabit\/ sekunden f\u00f6re 2025. Fonden ber\u00e4knas att \u00f6ppna i mitten av 2017 med m\u00e5let att g\u00f6ra satsningar i minst 20 medlemsl\u00e4nder fram till 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Satsningen p\u00e5 infrastruktur inom bredband ger allts\u00e5 st\u00f6rre m\u00f6jligheter f\u00f6r alla akt\u00f6rer inom privat s\u00e5v\u00e4l som offentlig sektor, att effektivisera sina industriella processer inom ramen f\u00f6r smart industri.
