Brussels Event – From Patient to Co-Creator: Building Equitable Health with AI

Småland Blekinge Halland South Sweden European Office (SBHSS)  invites you to an inspiring seminar on the 14th of October during the European Week of Cities and Regions (EWRC). During the breakfast seminar we will explore how artificial intelligence and data-driven health care can evolve from technical solutions into tools for health promotion, prevention and co-creation.  

Sweden has a long-standing experience in combining innovation and co-creation. Building on these experiences the seminar will explore patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, authorities and industry can work together to shape AI-driven healthcare. The seminar will also explore how Europe can empower citizens and patients to co-create healthcare services and help shape an AI-future that is innovative and built around people’s needs.

Together we will discuss: 

  • From patient to co-creator: How can we implement co-creation by design in the development of future AI solutions and digital services? 
  • From local innovation to European impact: How can successful examples of patient involvement strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and digital future? 
  • Equity through AI: Can AI help us build a more inclusive society and a more equitable healthcare system where no one is left behind? 
  • From workforce to co-designers: How do we support professionals and organisations in adapting to and shaping AI-driven transformation? 

 

This exploratory event intends to open new conversations, identify shared interests and lay the foundations for future collaboration. We welcome participants who are interested in shaping the future of AI-enabled healthcare together with patients, professionals, policymakers and industry.
