With a strong and distinctive profile as a sustainable region, we want to increase our competitiveness in the international arena. The goal is to open new markets for the region's economy and attracting investment to the region.
The profile as a sustainable region is based on the expertise available in the region's business community with a focus on sustainable solutions in areas such as environmental engineering, marine, forestry and logistics. Even the political ambitions and goals that are within the field of sustainability are big in Småland Blekinge, which further strengthens our profile.
Behind the initiative are the four regional councils in Småland and Blekinge, and the region's universities, ie Linnaeus University, Blekinge Institute of Technology and Jönköping University. For more information, click on the logos at the bottom of the page.
